- What made you decide to join the company?
- There are 2 items.
First, it was a job that I wanted to do. I like talking to people, so I wanted a sales position, and I've always loved visiting shrines and temples, so I've had many opportunities to see interesting architecture and buildings around town, so I wanted a job related to housing. I wanted a job that met these two criteria, so I decided on Meiho Enterprise which met my requirements.
The second reason is that there is a good work-life balance. I play ultimate on my days off, so I was looking for a company where I have Saturdays and Sundays off. Meiho Enterprise offers two days off per week (Saturday and Sunday), which is rare in the real estate industry, and I felt that it suited my lifestyle. The company also has a good balance, so most people finish work and go home at the regular time, which allows me to have personal time.
In addition, there are various sales styles, and rather than being athletic sales, it is more like a marketing strategy that considers product specifications, purchasing areas, and price ranges comprehensively and introduces them to investors and wealthy people. I have the opportunity to talk to various job-hunting students, and in one word, I am a "real estate agent that is not like a real estate agent." I often expand my network by being introduced to various people by real estate agents I have met.
- How do you feel now that you've actually joined the company?
- I thought it was my calling. When I think about the land I bought, buildings being built and people living there, it changes the way I look at the towns and buildings I've just seen, and it's interesting.
Also, since networking is important in this job, I come into contact with a lot of people and learn something new every day, which is fun.
The work-life balance is just as I had heard before joining the company. I have weekends and holidays off, and I can adjust my work schedule and go home on time, so I'm able to work with a good balance.
When I went to America for the Ultimate World Championships, I was given 10 days of paid leave and I was also grateful for the support I received from my company.
- What is the hardest part?
- This involves carrying out purchasing operations and project progress management in parallel.
Purchasing is about turning 0 into 1, while progress management is about taking what was 1 and moving it to 100, so the way of working is completely different. Unlike my first year, I'm especially struggling with progress management, as the number of projects I'm in charge of has increased. I've created my own checklists, and I'm working on each project with ingenuity to ensure there are no omissions or mistakes.
- What is the atmosphere like within the company?
- There are many young employees in their 20s, and the atmosphere is bright. In particular, the Sales Division 2 has an atmosphere like a club activity, and regardless of seniority, you can immediately consult with us if you have any questions or concerns. In addition, our seniors often ask us if there is anything that is bothering them or if there is anything they are stuck on, so we are able to solve problems immediately.
In addition, we have formed teams of young people across departmental boundaries and are posting videos on YouTube to raise awareness of the company. It is a good opportunity to talk with members of departments that we do not usually have much contact with at work, and we can freely come up with ideas, so we are having fun while working.
- What are your goals for the future?
- We aim to achieve top sales results.
To that end, I am currently focusing on expanding my network, and I would like to become a salesperson that people think, "If you ask Mr. T, you can connect with anyone."

- What made you decide to join the company?
- My impression of real estate was pleasantly surprised.
Before I found Meiho Enterprise, I didn't have a very good impression of the real estate industry. It's aggressive, athletic, has strict quotas, and overtime is the norm.... Due to various preconceived notions, I thought it definitely wasn't for me. However, when I attended Meiho Enterprise' company information session, I felt that "this might be different," so I took the plunge and tried my hand at the selection process.
Also, the fact that the company offers weekends and holidays off despite being a real estate agency was a big deal to me. I wanted to balance my work and private life, so weekends off was a must for me, but I never thought I would be able to take weekends and holidays off in the real estate industry. Although it wasn't a deciding factor during the selection process, after I received the job offer, I had the opportunity to interact with my seniors over Zoom, where I was able to hear more about the company's situation in more detail. I learned that it was a warm workplace where people could talk to each other regardless of their superior or subordinate status, and that was the moment I felt glad that I had decided to join Meiho Enterprise.
- How do you feel now that you've actually joined the company?
- I feel that my intuition was not wrong. I was assigned to the sales department, but I can work at my own pace, and although there are quotas to meet, I work as a team to achieve the goal, rather than struggling individually. Of course, there are many things I don't understand and some parts are quite difficult, but I ask my superiors about them. Everyone I consult with takes me seriously, so I don't hesitate to ask about things I don't understand.
- What is the hardest part?
- In the sales department, I think contract and settlement work is classified as a difficult job. The price range of the products handled by Meiho Enterprise is in the hundreds of millions, so if there is any trouble with the contract or settlement, it can lead to a huge loss for the company. Therefore, mistakes are absolutely not allowed. I check the documents over and over again to make sure there are no errors, and the sense of accomplishment when everything is completed safely is very great, but I feel that it takes a lot of energy to get there.
- What is the atmosphere like within the company?
- Recently, the number of young employees has increased, and the atmosphere is bright and friendly. Also, as I mentioned earlier, I often talk with my superiors. Sometimes we chat, share our favorite sweets, go to lunch together, and I feel that it is a warm workplace every day.
Also, perhaps because of the freedom to dress, I feel like the atmosphere is less stiff. I think the impression is quite different if everyone is wearing a suit or not. Conversations often start with talking about clothes and nails.
It feels like little by little, various freedoms are being recognized.
- What are your goals for the future?
- As a member of the sales department, I want to do my best to make our products popular with as many people as possible. I think my next challenge is to improve my presentation skills and be able to show the appeal of our products.

- What made you decide to join the company?
- When I was a child, my parents' house was rebuilt, and I had a lot of fun looking around at various model rooms, so I've always loved looking at architecture. I also worked part-time at a real estate company when I was a student. I wanted to work in something I liked, so I focused my job search on the real estate and housing industries.
The deciding factor for me to join this company was,
・No transfers ・Saturdays, Sundays and holidays off ・100% subsidiary of a listed company ・Housing allowance ・More discretion given to young employees
However, the biggest deciding factor was that, while talking with the employees during the interviews and meetings, I got the strong impression that "they value not only their work but also their own lives." I had a strong image of real estate companies being a place where you work hard every day just to meet quotas, and I was very worried about whether I could do it, but through the interviews and meetings, I felt that the personalities of the employees and the company atmosphere were calm and warm, and I decided to join the company, thinking that I could work in my own way.
- How do you feel now that you've actually joined the company?
- As was my deciding factor in joining the company, I feel like I am able to work in my own way.
My main job is leasing to find tenants for vacant properties, but there are no weekly quotas and I work hard every day with a goal set for the whole team. I wasn't originally looking to work in sales, so I was a bit worried, but since I sell to real estate agents and we often go to the same areas, I get to know the faces and can introduce properties in a frank atmosphere, so I think I'm having fun working here.
It's my second year at the company, but I've been entrusted with a variety of tasks, and as I decided, I feel that a lot of discretion is given to young people. Although there is pressure, I feel more confident knowing that my opinions are accepted and the work is progressing.
- What is the hardest part?
- ・Thinking about proposals for properties that are struggling
・Interaction with the owner
Every day I struggle with coming up with sales methods and proposals for properties that are difficult to secure tenants for. However, the sense of accomplishment when we do secure a tenant is so great that it makes the job worthwhile.
I also feel that it is difficult to communicate with property owners. Many of the owners are business owners and they ask for high-level opinions, so I feel that I need to study and grow as a professional every day.
- What is the atmosphere like within the company?
- The age range is wide, but there is an environment where anyone can speak up regardless of age. Since there are many jobs that require cooperation within the company, I feel that everyone is conscious of creating an environment where it is easy to work. Also, in the last few years, we have started a program called "MU-3 (Meiho Under 3 years)" where members who have been with the company for up to three years post videos on YouTube. I think that this activity has helped to create active communication across the boundaries between enterprises and properties.
- What are your goals for the future?
- In a word, I want to become a professional in leasing. Since each property has its own characteristics, and each area has its own characteristics, I want to fully understand what approach I should take in leasing.

- What made you decide to join the company?
- The biggest reason is that I can be involved in design work. I studied architecture for seven years from high school to university, and I wanted to work in a position that would allow me to utilize those skills. In high school, I studied wooden architecture, and in university, I mainly studied design. There were also housing manufacturers and design offices on my options, but as I continued my job search, I remembered that I was originally interested in the site, and decided to join our company, where I could experience both design and the site.
When you are actually involved in constructing a building, you feel a sense of accomplishment when it is completed, but you also feel joy knowing that you are creating a place that will remain on the map and that people can return to. It's strange to think that people are living in a building that we planned and built from scratch, but it's also a joy.
Another deciding factor was that, as I was going through the selection process, I was able to easily imagine what it would be like after I joined the company. During the information session, the HR staff was kind enough to explain any points I didn't understand, and they also set aside time for me to meet with young employees, so it was great to be able to hear the real voices of people who were actually working there at a similar age.
- How do you feel now that you've actually joined the company?
- Every day is fun. Not only am I able to do the design work that I had been thinking about doing during my job search, but I also get to visit the site directly to check on the progress and the condition of the completed property, and the situation varies depending on the property, so when I first joined the company, it was a constant stream of new experiences.
Because I get to experience the entire process from planning within the company to construction and completion, I feel a sense of accomplishment when a property I am in charge of is completed.
In addition, the interior colors and other aspects of the property are also decided by the project team, so it is also fun to see the image take shape when the property is completed. In addition to the location, the interior design is also a deciding factor for whether or not someone will move in, so we discuss it carefully within the team and make decisions.
- What is the hardest part?
- It was difficult to get used to the speed of work.
Our design work takes less than a week, from the time the development department obtains land information, to the creation of a volume diagram (a drawing that verifies how many rooms can be placed on the site), to the completion of the floor plan. Since speed is of the essence when purchasing land, if the creation of design drawings is delayed, there is a risk that the land you were aiming for will be bought by another company.
In order to contribute to the company's sales, it is important to get used to the speed of the entire operation and get the job done.
- What is the atmosphere like within the company?
- There is always a fun and cheerful atmosphere. Many people imagine the real estate industry to be a tough environment, but that is not the case at our company.
Of course, since we are working, it's not just cheerful and fun, but we also have to take our work seriously.
Also, when I first joined the company, I was hesitant to ask questions, but thanks to my boss's words, "Ask me anything," and the atmosphere that made it easy to ask questions, now I consult him first whenever I have a problem.
We often hear the phrase "an open and comfortable workplace," and this is a true embodiment of that.
- What are your goals for the future?
- I am currently studying to become a Class 2 architect. Although obtaining the qualification is not a must, I am studying so that I can carry out my work more smoothly in the future and so that people will think of me as someone they can rely on.
